BUY THIS BOOK ON AMAZON!

From the very first chapter, this book had me hooked, but that’s no surprise with a Susan May Warren read. She’s one of my favorite authors for that exact reason!

This story wastes no time pulling you into danger while tugging at your heart. A world-famous pop star confronting her broken past in the frozen Alaskan wilderness survives a hijacked plane crash only to find herself hunted for reasons she doesn’t understand. Enter an ex-cop with his own haunted history and a K9 partner with undeniable main-character hero energy (couldn't have loved Caspian more!), then add in multiple daring rescues, a hidden community deep in the woods and nonstop, edge-of-your-seat suspense and you have this perfect five star read!

What made this story shine for me was the heart in it. The chemistry between Dawson and Keely is layered with tension born from their pasts, causing me to want to fight for their romance and their emotional journeys feel just as powerful as the action in this story. As always, SMW delivers a deeply satisfying, character-driven story filled with redemption, courage and a team that rallies when it matters most.

If you love adventure, romance, Alaska, high-stakes suspense and a fiercely protective, courageous dog, this one is an easy recommendation from me to you!
