Hearts in Circulation is an adorable, feel-good, fall time contemporary romance that will leave you smiling!
Author Sarah Monzon delivers a charming story full of heart, romance and humor. I instantly fell in love with Hayley, a librarian whose new, yet vintage bookmobile breaks down in a tiny, rural Tennessee community, and Levi, a gruff but good-hearted local mechanic who steps in to help. It’s the perfect grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract setup, complete with forced proximity, kittens, books and pigs in tutus.
What I loved most is how real these characters felt. Hayley’s journey as a liver transplant survivor and Levi’s challenges with sensory processing disorder gave the story depth and authenticity. They’re ordinary people with extraordinary backgrounds, navigating life and a blossoming romance.
This story is clean, modern and faith-filled without ever feeling too over-the-top. Plus, there's no third act breakup! It’s sweet, funny, and filled with reminders to see others with compassion and meet them with grace.
If you love swoony, small-town romances with bookish charm, heartfelt themes and a whole heaping of cute micro-tropes, then Hearts in Circulation is one you don’t want to miss!
