ROMANTIC COMEDY
The perfect combination of spark and sizzle… The Buy-In was hilarious, heartwarming and thoroughly enjoyable!
Emma St. Clair kept me laughing, quite literally, out loud with her characters’ antics and the witty, dramatic scenes that unfolded in this second-chance-at-love, marriage-of-convenience mashup. With down-to-earth characters who were relatable and adorable, this romcom with small town vibes completely won me over.

"You can't Schitt's Creek a town, Tank."
"And you can't verb a noun, son."
When a family of former pro football players buy a small Texas town, they didn't intend to start a war with its residents ... or to fall in love.
Ever since his career-ending injury, Pat has bounced from job to job, idea to idea, short-lived relationship to short-lived relationship. But when his father purchases the town of Sheet Cake, Pat suddenly sees his life with clear purpose: get his brothers on board with his dad's wild idea and win back the one woman who got away.
Lindy was supposed to be traveling the world, not stuck in a small town, caring for her niece. But she would do anything to keep custody of Jo--even if that looks like a marriage of convenience with the man who already broke her heart once.
Now if she can only keep herself from falling back in love with her husband...
This is a small town, marriage of convenience romantic comedy with plenty of sizzle while keeping the bedroom door closed. Perfect for fans of Sarah Adams and Sariah Wilson!
★★★★★ | Whenever I’m having a bad day, or (ahem) a bad week, I can always count on Emma St. Clair and her sweet romantic comedies to cheer me up! I absolutely LOVED The Buy-In.

The romance was the perfect combination of spark and sizzle and I personally loved how Pat pursued Lindy and determined to love her well. There were so many moments that really touched my heart. Speaking of heart, I loved how each of the main characters had a close, deep relationship with their family members and friends. Those secondary characters added to the story in a really tangible way, making it even more enjoyable! Throw in the small-town vibes and I was completely won over.
I found The Buy-In to be a quick, easy read with a creative story line that kept me highly engaged. In fact, I had trouble putting it down! Overall, this was a great read that was fun, flirty, and most certainly heartwarming. I can’t wait for the next installment in this series and I highly recommend Emma St. Clair’s Love Cliche series as well.
Content Note: Because some of my followers prefer Christian or faith-based books, I wanted to note this story is a wholesome, clean read with no swearing or explicit love scenes, but rather more of a sweet romance. It does not contain any Christian elements. It does have some flirty innuendos between a couple who is legally married. Also, the Graham family owns a brewery and there are mentions of consuming alcohol but not to the point of inebriation.
