Calling all mamas and crafty friends,
If you’re a newsletter subscriber, you’ve already gotten an insider’s look at my new, FREE Halloween pennant printables, But if not, then I’m delighted to share these fun little flags with you as a little something special from our home to yours this Halloween.
With only a few more days until Halloween, I know many of you are [probably] like me and are scrambling to gather last minute costume accessories, buy candy and create cute gifts and Boo bags to be dropped off on doorsteps for friends and neighbors. I mean seriously, where has this entire month (no, wait, year!) gone?
So, while my daughter played with her Picasso Tiles from Zulily for a half hour the other morning (I would never get anything done around here without those. They are our favorite open-ended toys!), I whipped up these pennants to add some decorative spice to our projects and just had to share them with you!
These adorable printable pennants could be used for:
Boo Baskets
Teacher Gifts
Halloween Parties (even the ones, at home, in your pjs!) and photo booths
Treat favors for friends, church family or neighbors
Halloween home decor
Truck or Treat props
What You’ll Need:
Home printer
Paper (or cardstock)
Dowel (or wood skewer)
Scissors
Tape (or hot glue)
Ribbon, optional
Steps:
Download my free printable and print
Using scissors, cut the pennant out but DO NOT cut the straight side on the left edge. (This small ½ inch of edge allows you to wrap the pennant around your dowel or wood skewer)
Fold the white portion of the pennant around the dowel.
Tape (my preferred method) or hot glue the white portion to the dowel.
Add some ribbon for flair, if desired.
I can’t wait to see what creative ways you find to use these adorable pennants!

KIDS ACTIVITY
Build An Ocean Theme Coral Reef Sensory Tray - Invitation to Play and Learn
Children will LOVE this exciting, hands-on activity that is both sensory based and educational! My preschool-age daughter and I loved building a coral reef out of dry, colored pasta noodles and sand play dough during our summer unit study of the ocean and marine life.
