Documenting Text and Online Conversations | 6x8 Pocket Page Scrapbook Layout Feautring Paislee Press
Hi friends! Join me online for #memorykeepingmonday and share your recent projects!
Little by little I'm working on my personal mini album... As I celebrate this last year in my twenties, I've been doing more thinking and journaling about how things have changed in my lifetime.
One of things I wrote about it was how I keep in touch with my friends and family now vs. when I was a teenager. In high school, laying in bed and talking on a cordless land line or using AOL dial-up internet to send an email was all the rage. Now, I stay in touch via text message or an app on my iphone like Facebook or Instagram. I thought it would be fun to document these things because who knows how things will change in another 20 years... In fact, my husband and I have already gotten a big kick out of this layout I created last year where I documented one of our first conversations over the internet when we met several years ago.
I used the new For Like Ever journal card, paper and elements collection from Paislee Press to assemble this layout. I added in one small 3x4 cut of some xoxo paper I loved from the Something Sweet Felicity Jane kit. I aslo added in some screenshots of my iPhone home screen, Facebook page and Instagram to have to look back on in the years to come. I really loved how the pages turned out and the story that they tell.
