#LittleSummerJOY | Summer Project Life Album - Week 2, 3, and 4

Hi guys!  I'm FINALLY getting a chance to share some of my pages from my  #LittleSummerJOY album!  You know, initially, when I talked about starting the project, I wanted to try to go with more of "smashbook" feel, however as you can see,  I just naturally gravitate back to the Project Life style.  I think its just because it 'fits' me.

I have tried really hard to create some pages that were not pocket page format and I failed miserably.  In fact, I ended up disliking my pages so much, I took them apart and reused the elements elsewhere in my album.  I have a greater appreciation for these creative women who can make beautiful minimalist pages in multiple formats!

I have been digging through my stash and finding items that I love to incorporate into my album. I've also done some stamping, as you can see above using this set from Kellie Stamps.

Another fun thing I wanted to incorporate is blog excerpts.  Many of us creatives spend an awful lot of time creating rich content for our blogs in addition to memory keeping.  I personally feel its important to include those blog posts in my albums so I'm adding a few pages of my blog posts into this album.  After all, its what I've done this summer!

I also took the time to document our summer traditions and include some photos from those events.  One of my favorite traditions that personally bring me much joy were documented in the page shown above.  I actually built a challenge around that and you can read more about it here.
