If your littles are anything like mine, getting them to settle down for bed is always a little like wrangling monkeys who just escaped the circus. There is just always so much to see and do before bedtime! With this adorable, new bedtime story from Zonderkidz, little Nolan the Narwhal swims and plays all day but would rather explore instead of settle into bed. You and your children can follow along with him as he goes through his bedtime routine and gets all the wiggles out before falling fast asleep!
My Review: Nighty Night Narwhal is whimsical, fun and expressive. Reading this book aloud to my two year old daughter made her laugh and giggle as Nolan makes the silliest narwhal sounds. With vibrant, brightly colored underwate illustrations, there’s lots for little eyes to marvel at. The board book pages are sturdy, with a puffy, eye catching cover. This is sure to be a bedtime favorite in our home! Appropriate for ages infant-preschooler.
*Note: For parents who may be working with children “stalling” before bedtime, this book does share the many ways Nolan works his way to sleep like getting a snack, drink, worrying over monsters and asking for extra attention right before bed. This is done tastefully but may enforce the idea that all these extra steps are necessary before one can fall asleep. Otherwise, it is a fun and delightful story!
