Introducing this gorgeous, newly released Bible for pre-teen/teen girls from Zonderkidz! The Artisan Collection Bible for Girls is simply stunning with its cloth cover, sparkly gold dots and beautiful pastel colors. Encourage the young girl in your life to hide God’s word in her heart by gifting her this journaling Bible which offers wide margins, gold gilded pages, a ribbon page marker and easy-to-understand translation.
My Review: This stunning NIV Bible offers subtle lines in the margins for journaling the truths God gives to young hearts. They can add stickers, notes and doodles on each page as they write, absorb and notate God’s word. The NIV translation is easy to read and easy to understand which I appreciated. I ADORE the pastel, artistic cover of this Bible and the fact that it is a durable cloth. It’s a great quality and has excellent binding; the satin ribbon page marker is a plus! The words of Jesus are in red and there is a notes section in the rear for additional thoughts. There is no glossary however, which makes it a little harder to locate certain references in the Scripture if this Bible is used as a study Bible. My only drawback to the Bible is that the pages aren’t bright white and they are a bit transparent which may make it hard to use markers, highlighters or thick ink when journaling. That could easily be overcome by placing a piece of copy paper behind the page you’re making notes on to prevent bleed through. Appropriate for ages 8+.
