Documenting Bad Days | 12x12 Project Life Memory Keeping Inspiration feat. Big City Quiet Designs
Sometimes life just sucks... Its not always easy, its not always good, and occasionally it can be downright cruel. Now, I'm certain that times can always be worse or there is someone out there who is suffering much more than a simple bad day... But I've learned to embrace life as it comes, not sweat the small stuff and just keep going.

But bad days do happen. And what's a girl to do when a bad day pops up and rears its ugly head? SCRAPBOOK IT, of course!
At the beginning of this year, we experienced some of the coldest temps we've had around here in a long time... Snow for weeks (that's not quite the normal around here) and frigid temperatures at night. One particular evening after work, my husband offered to drive me in our 4-wheel drive to Hobby Lobby... However, on the way there, his driver's side window regulator went out, leaving the snow blowing inside and the frigid air absolutely freezing us. We don't have a garage and our vehicles have to sit outside so my poor husband determined to fix that regulator that night. After an expensive trip to the auto parts store, he returned home to begin the repairs, taking the entire door apart only to find the auto parts store sold us the wrong part!
I felt so bad, trying to help him keep warm and get the window repaired outside int he dark. It was just one of those days that had turned into one of those nights... If you know what I mean.
So when I decided to include this story in my Project Life album, I took an idea from Rachel Del Gross on Instagram to stamp the word "Ugh" using some Kellie Stamps, snatched up a few designs from her store at Big City Quiet, and set to work documenting this not so good day.
A simple layout over all, but love how it tells the story of what happened!
Have you ever had a bad day that got recorded in your scrapbook too?
