Update | Journal Entry
If I'm going to be 100% honest, I have to say it is mid March and I'm struggling a little bit with my 2015 goal to journal more. On one hand, I have used words to record a lot more of this year than I did over the last few years. On the other hand, I'm still trying to find a system and balance to it all.
To begin with, I am journaling. I am currently writing things as they come to me in an email and sending it to myself. When I have the time, I then incorporate those entries into a Word document. This works good for me when I'm on the go or at work. But it feels very impersonal. Its just words on a screen.
Handwriting a journal is a desire of mine, since I spent my young adulthood keeping countless journals this way. However, as a working adult with other responsibilities, I just can't seem to find the time to do it. Plus I really want to have a digital copy of the journal somehow.
As you know, I initially intended to digitally journal and then print the words out to include in this 6x8 album. So far, I've only printed two entries. It just isn't working for me. It feels like such a laborious task. I'm all about keeping things simple and easy, so there's got to be better way.
Lastly, I am proud that I have included more journaling into my Project Life albums, like here and here. That makes me pretty happy.
In conclusion, I'd love to hear from some of you who keep journals. I feel very strongly that this is something I need to do, I'm just not sure HOW to do it. What have you found that works for you?
