I Want to Begin a Daily Journal | Seeking Advice
As many of you already know, my one New Year's resolution was to journal more. Lately, I've been so focused on work, blogging, and every day life I haven't doing as much journaling as I intended. I wrote a story for #hashtagthisweek and included it in my Project Life 6x8 album, I've done some digital journaling, and I've typed up some journal entries that are stored on my computer but that's not enough.
That's not telling the story of today.
When I was younger I did a handwritten journal entry nearly every day. But then life happened and I began working full time. I just didn't keep up with it. I'm still a little hesitant to pick up a journal book and write out a lengthy entry every day. Instead, I'm wanting to start small.
I want to begin a daily journal entry. Even if it is just a sentence or two.
I'm hoping I can create a daily habit of entering something, anything into a journal. If that entry prompts a story, then great! If it is something that will fit into my Project Life album, even better! But I want to just document the every day. Once a day, to create a habit...
I want to keep it simple.
For those of you who have already mastered this in your adulthood, how do you do it? When do you find the time? What type of journal do you use? What advice do you have for me?
