Around Here | My Week in Photos

It has become a rare thing to have a full day together with my husband's constantly changing schedule. We were fortunate enough to have two days this past week.  On Saturday, after a little sleeping in and a four hour deep cleaning of the house, we decided to get out.  We began talking about how my husband is more adventurous than myself and likes to try new things, where as I am a creature of habit and prefer familiar things.  Thus, I decided this year to give it a go and attempt more new things. We started with trying out a new restaurant, the Tupelo Honey Café and I even braved trying a new-to-me food - mashed cauliflower.  The entire dinner experience was quite delightful.  I must say, maybe he's on to something with trying new things....

After dinner we could not resist a stop at one of my favorite stores - the Fresh Market.  This is one of the most visually pleasing stores I've ever been in. Not just because of the candy pictured (I'm actually not much of a candy person, I just love the color and organization here), but also because of the rows of fresh fruits and veggies.  Having grown up in a tropical area and moving to the mountains, I have grown disappointed in buying fruit locally because its rarely fresh.

I may have left Fresh Market with some chocolate covered strawberries. Hey, there's fruit in there so that makes it healthy right? Ok maybe not.... But they were good!

The first part of the week was a total blur. I really can't even remember what happened. Addie can't either. She just knows she took a lot of naps.

Mid week we ventured out to yet another new restaurant on our way to the local home improvement store. While we were there, we ran into a friend and were able to catch up with him.  It felt nice to go out mid week, we rarely have time to do that.

I have spent the majority of the week planning some changes for our master bedroom.  I had a color picked out but have changed my mind so many times, I still don't know what to do.
