Welcome to BibleWorld

Explore All 66 Books of the Bible

Written By: Mike Nappa & Illustrated By: Emiliano Migliardo

About This Book:

Ages: 4-8

You’ve heard of Disney World; now welcome to Bible World!

This search-and-find book visualizes various Bible genres as a series of “lands” in a theme park with detailed, fun, and colorful Where's Waldo-style illustrations.

As children explore these Bible "lands", they’ll discover for themselves the way Scripture has been collected and organized—from Genesis to Revelation. They will also see the main theme that runs throughout the Bible—God’s promise of a rescuing King and its fulfillment in Jesus Christ.

Explanations of the different Bible genres are included, as well as specific Bible heroes and events for children to spot. It's a fun and engaging way for kids to learn more about the Bible.

Written by Mike Nappa, award-winning children’s author, and best-selling creator of many books for families. His highlight reel includes several VeggieTales comics, the Bibleman Bible Storybook and the Gold Medallion-nominated Family Nights Tool Chest series. Illustrated by Emiliano Migliardo.

My Review:

Interactive books are a favorite go-to in our home because they engage our energetic child and draw her interest into learning new things. This new release has vibrant, stimulating images that combine the fun of a theme park and learning the books of the Bible!

What I Love: The educational aspect of this book is really fantastic and genius! By breaking down exploring the Bible into nine different ways, the author has made learning about God’s Word easy and fun, with challenges and summaries that children will find relatable and interesting. There are four entrances to the Old Testament and five for the New Testament such as “Land of Law”, “Kings and Heroes”, “Paul’s Place” or “Gospel Country” (an entrance being a two page theme park spread featuring a summary of what we can expect to learn in those books of the Bible and then a challenge to find various items in the spread.) Also, in the theme park themed illustrations, children can point out various rides that each correspond with a Biblical story. I love that Scripture references are placed with the items to be found so they can correlate with that particular story in the Bible as well as a reference guide being offered for the “rides” pictured. I also enjoyed that each little summary is easy to understand and speaks not only to the history found in the Bible in those particular books, but also the purpose of those books and the message that can be found within their pages. The book is a large format with glossy pages that are durable, clean easily and are great for little fingers!

One Consideration: The seek and find aspect is not self-guided for children who cannot yet read. Unlike other Seek and Find books that offer a photo of the object to be located, this book has words. As a result, younger children who cannot yet read will need an adult present to read the items to them before they can be found.

In Summary: Welcome to BibleWorld is exciting, interactive, educational, easy to understand, colorful and fun! It offers relatable content that kids can enjoy and breaks down the 66 books of the Bible into 9 easy to follow categories while giving young readers a little snippet of what they can learn about in those particular books of the Bible. The illustrations are vibrant, imaginative and the hidden items are a fun challenge! This book would make a great gift or addition to any child’s library or homeschooling library.
