About This Book:

Ages: 2-5, preschool and kindergarten

This beautifully illustrated "Seek and Find" book is packed full of all your favorite New Testament stories. It’s teeming with fun and exciting things to find—from faithful friends to scary Romans, and grumpy Pharisees to a frightened octopus!

Children will not only love finding, counting and sorting over 450 hidden things in this large format board book, but they will also learn key truths about Jesus through the biblically faithful illustrations and retellings of New Testament stories. They will learn that Jesus is God's perfect Son, who can change our hearts, and that we can always trust him.

With over 50 things to count on each page, this book will bring you hours of fun as you seek and find!

My Review:

Our preschooler LOVES these style books because they’re engaging and interactive. With an active little one who can’t seem to sit still, these are my favorite go-to!

This particular Seek and Find book is awesome because it’s a larger format with a thick, cover and super-sturdy hard pages. The illustrations are fun and finding items offer a fun challenge for little eyes and minds.

My favorite part? That there is an added bonus of helping your preschooler or kindergartner count too! So on any given page, little ones are asked to find 1, 2, 3 things and so on, up to 10! It’s fun and creative while building concentration skills and memory focus.

Each page also offers a little story about Jesus and His life on earth. It’s short, sweet and has one big truth with scripture references. This would make an excellent gift for any child aged 2-5 and is a must for our church bag or long car rides. Thanks GoodBook Company!

My Review:

The simple, delightful retelling of Jesus’ parable of the prodigal son and Zacchaeus is a great way to immerse even the youngest preschooler in Biblical stories! My three year old loves the 7x7 inch paperback format of these books and the bright, colorful covers! The stories are easy to understand, express biblical truth and remind children that God is always happy to accept them, no matter their previous choices, and reminds them just how big His love is. The illustrations reminded me of a comic strip or cartoon and are cute, expressive and fun. While I understand this series to be geared towards younger children, I don’t see why any elementary-aged child, especially those who aren’t familiar with Bible stories already, wouldn’t love these books, too!

At the end of each book is a note for grown-ups that reviews the wisdom found in the Scripture with suggestions for sharing the story on a deeper level. In addition, there is an NIV version of the Bible story from Scripture.

A great tool for introducing Bible stories and faith on a level children can grasp! Plus, the stories to this series will be fun to collect!
